British Friesian Cattle

British Friesian CattleThe Ringswood Herd of British Friesian Cattle was formed by John William Garner Dalby in the late 1940s in the village of Ringstead in Northamptonshire.  It was kept there on what is now Grange Farm until the Autumn of 1968 when the Herd moved to its present home at Pailton in Warwickshire, but close to the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire borders.

This long established herd is bred for longevity and milk production.  Both modern and older sires are used with the aim of keeping a wide spread of blood lines

We are always using at least one young bull in the herd keeping these animals until proven.

We always have newly calved heifers and young bulls for sale either privately or through regional markets.
